This site has been created to maintain the memory of the Moorabbin City Soccer Club. The CLUB HISTORY page contains an overall summary of the club's history since the foundation in 1949.  It contains the known records of the senior, reserve, thirds and colts teams from 1950-2002. They can be found in the SEASONS section. Many seasons results and details are incomplete, if you have any additional information, please get in touch. Research to complete the records is ongoing. Photo Galleries and Other Updates

The piles of photos given to me be Thommo at the 2023 Golf Trip have finally been scanned and added to the galleries on the blog . The senior team photo section has had pics from 1952, 1975, 1978 & 1992 added. The reserves photo gallery has seen 1976, 1984 and 1996 added. The thirds photo gallery has been updated with pics for 1991 and 1997. A massive gallery has been added with pictures from a gathering at the club's regular pub, the McKinnon Hotel, in the 1960's. It can be viewed here . Another new gallery are some shots from the junior game between Moorabbin City and Croatia in March 1972, played at Cheltenham High School. It can be viewed here . Also now available are pictures from a game at Monbulk between the local juniors and a Moorabbin team. It is available here . Vale Trevor Bishop 1947-2024

Trevor Bishop, a great player and truly the nicest bloke you could hope to meet, passed away late last year after enduring the terrible motor neurone disease (MND) for a number of years. He will be remembered for his blistering shooting strength, and his booming laugh. He played in every senior team at Moorabbin City, from the firsts to the reserves and thirds and even the fourths. He was denied the 1982 Metropolitan League Division Four Best and Fairest award on countback after tying with North Geelong's Drago Krajina in the days when the V.S.F. wouldn't issue multiple medals as they do now.  Living opposite Bailey Reserve, he was often helping out around the club in ways other than scoring goals on the park.  A true gentleman with a cheerful disposition that made everyone enjoy being in his company.
