Welcome to Moorabbin City Soccer Club History

This site has been created to maintain the memory of the Moorabbin City Soccer Club. The CLUB HISTORY page contains an overall summary of the club's history since the foundation in 1949. 

It contains the known records of the senior, reserve, thirds and colts teams from 1950-2002. They can be found in the SEASONS section. Many seasons results and details are incomplete, if you have any additional information, please get in touch. Research to complete the records is ongoing.

Clicking on a yearbook or match programme cover will give you access to the full publication, which can also be downloaded to keep. There are also a few games which have some video footage available.

The HONOURS page lists the successes of the club's teams in league and cup competitions.

Inside the AWARD WINNERS page are further pages detailing known winners of Best & Fairest, Player's Player of the Year, Top Goalscorers and Coach's Award winners of the club's various teams, as well as a list of Life Members and President's Award winners.

The GALLERIES page contains links to separate galleries for senior team, reserve team, third team and colts team photographs. There is also a gallery of individual player photographs. If anyone has photos they would like added to the galleries, please get in touch via the Contact Form.

There is a LIBRARY page which houses all the non-matchday programmes and newsletters, as well as articles about the club from various publications. Once again, clicking on the cover gains full access.

Finally the LINKS page contains links to other websites that provide the source materials for producing club histories, as well links to other club history websites (though the link to Richmond Alemannia history is inactive until it is launched next month).

Technology has vastly improved in the thirty years since I first looked through a few collections in preparation for the 50th Anniversary booklet and it is now relatively simple to scan and upload such items.
